Much better than traditional braces, the Damon System places less friction on the bracket by using hi-tech archwires. With Damon self-ligating brackets treatment time is reduced by between 3 and 6 months as compared to traditional braces.
Invisalign
Sometimes called “clear braces,” Invisalign is an effective and popular system for adult orthodontic treatment. It involves wearing removable, clear mouthpieces for a period of 6 to 18 months. Aligners hold tooth bleach well and we provide this for all Invisalign patients. The process of creating aligners is almost completely digitized and requires a lot of hi-tech wizardry. Because of this, the cost of Invisalign treatment may be somewhat higher than for braces. An occasional drawback to Invisalign is that certain movements of teeth aren’t as effective and may require extra effort to achieve.
